Authorize the Acceptance of $48,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland\nSecurity’s Federal Emergency Management Agency 2023 Fire Prevention and\nSafety Grant and Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget to Appropriate Funds\nfor the Burbank Fire Department’s Arson Investigator Program – Fire\nDepartment\nRecommendation:\nAuthorize the acceptance of $48,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland\nSecurity’s Federal Emergency Management Agency 2023 Fire Prevention and\nSafety Grant; amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget by appropriating funds\ntowards the Fire Department’s Arson Investigator Program; and authorize the\n10/25/24, 1:20 PM City Council Meeting\nCity Manager or his designee to take all necessary action to effectuate the grant\naward.
