Town Project No. 4100: Yucca Valley Community Center Athletic Facilities Project\n- Phase 1- Resolution No. 24-XX, Budget Amendment, Award of Construction\nContract\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n• Adopts Resolution No 24-XX, amending the 2024/2025 FY\nBudget, as outlined in the Resolution, for a total project budget\nof $2,925,000 by appropriating $1,325,000 from SRF 2022 Debt\nService, Fund 222, to ARPA Fund 574, Project No. 4100, Yucca\nValley Community Center Athletic Facilities project.\n• Approves the award of a construction contract with Van\nEngineering, Inc., in the amount of $2,544,825 to construct Yucca\nValley Community Center Athletic Facility.\n• Authorizes construction, construction contingency in the amount\nof $245,170, and inspection costs in the total amount of\n$2,925,000.\n• Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to\nexecute the agreement, and authorizes the Town Manager to\nexpend the contingency funds, if necessary, for project\ncompletion.\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 SPECIAL REVENUE\nFUND BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $1,325,000 FROM FUND 222, 2022\nDEBT SERVICE, AND TRANSFERRING THOSE FUNDS TO ARPA FUNDING,\nFUND 574, PROJECT NO. 4100, YUCCA VALLEY COMMUNITY CENTER\nATHLETIC FACILITIES PROJECT, FOR A TOTAL PROJECT BUDGET\nAMOUNT OF $2,925,000.00 FOR PROJECT 4100.
