Authorization to Purchase Replacement Fleet Vehicle, Vehicle #95, Ford F350 SD,\nAnimal Control Truck, Box and Associated Equipment\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n· Utilizes section 3.12.060 - G of Town of Yucca Valley Municipal\nCode pertaining to Purchasing Policy, Exceptions to Competitive\nBidding Requirements.\n· Authorizes the purchase in the amount not to exceed\n$133,643.77 to/from Fiesta Ford for purchasing a Ford F350 with\nAnimal Control compartment/box, replacement of unit #95.\n· Declares Unit #95, 2008 Ford E-350 SD Animal Control Wagon, as\nsurplus, and approve the sale of surplus vehicle, authorizing the\nTown Manager to auction/sell the vehicle through a public\nbidding/auction process or through disposition through auto\ndismantling services.\n· Authorizes the Town Manager or designee to execute all vehicle\nand equipment purchase and or sales paperwork and disposing\nof the surplus vehicle.

21. Burrtec Agreement- Procurement of Recovered Organic Waste Products\nRecommendation:\n1. That the Town Council approves an agreement with Burrtec\nWaste and Recycling Services, LLC to provide the procurement of\nrecovered organic waste products, on behalf of the Town, as\nrequired by SB 1383, and\n2. Authorizes the Town Manager to sign all related documents in a\nform approved by the Town Attorney and make any non-\nsubstantive changes, and\n3. Amends the FY2024-25 General Fund Budget to appropriate an\nadditional $20,000 in Professional Services - Solid Waste Division\nto accommodate the annual procurement costs as identified in\nExhibit A.
