10. Town Project No. 8053: Machris Park Concrete and Playground Equipment\nReplacement Project, Resolution 24-XX Budget Amendment, Award of\nConstruction Contract to Micon Construction, Inc., Basketball Court Concrete\nand Playground Equipment Replacement\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n• Adopts Resolution No 24-XX, amending the budget in the\namount of $100,000.00 from Capital Project Reserve Fund 800 to\nMeasure Y Fund 801 project 8053, Machris Park Concrete and\nPlayground Equipment Replacement Project; and\n· Approves the award of a construction contract with Micon\nConstruction, Inc., in the amount of $263,297.00 to construct\nMachris Park Concrete and Playground Equipment Replacement\nProject; and\n· Authorizes construction, construction contingencies in the\namount of $26,700, and inspection costs in the total amount not\nto exceed $300,000.00;\n· Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to\nexecute the agreement and authorizes the Town Manager or\ndesignee to expend contingency funds, if necessary, for project\ncompletion.\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 SPECIAL REVENUE\nFUND BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $100,000 TRANSFER FROM FUND\n800, CAPITAL PROJECTS RESERVE, AND TRANSFERRING THOSE FUNDS\nTO MEASURE Y, FUND 801, PROJECT NO. 8053, MACHRIS PARK\nCONCRETE AND PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT PROJECT, FOR A TOTAL\nPROJECT BUDGET AMOUNT OF $350,000.00 FOR PROJECT 8053.
