J. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO HARDY & HARPER, INC. FOR\n2024-2025 CDBG RUBIDOUX AREA PAVEMENT REHABILITATION\nPROJECT, (CIP #24106)\nAPPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY\nAND TKE ENGINEERING, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT\nSERVICES FOR THE RUBIDOUX AREA PAVEMENT\nREHABILITATION PROJECT (CIP #24106)\nAPPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY\nAND GEO-ADVANTEC, INC. FOR MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES\nFOR THE RUBIDOUX AREA PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT\n(CIP #24106)\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council award a construction contract to\nHardy & Harper, Inc. in the amount of $409,145.00 for the 2024-2025\nCDBG Rubidoux Area Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CIP # 24106), for\nthe work included in its bid proposal and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the Agreement in the form attached to the staff report; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent related minor\namendments to the Agreement with Hardy & Harper Inc., and up to 10% of\nthe bid amount as contingency to cover the cost of any unforeseen\nconditions; and\n3. That the City Council approve the Agreement between the City of Jurupa\nValley and TKE Engineering, Inc. for Construction Management Services\nfor a not-to-exceed amount of $36,057 for the 2024-2025 CDBG Rubidoux\nArea Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CIP # 24106); and\n4. Approve the agreement between the City of Jurupa Valley and Geo-\nAdvantec, Inc. for Material Testing Services for an amount no-to-exceed\n$10,600.00 for the 2024-2025 CDBG Rubidoux Area Pavement\nRehabilitation Project (CIP # 24106); and\n5. Authorize the Finance Director to make appropriate budget adjustments as\nneeded; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreements in\nsubstantially the form and format attached to the staff report as approved by\nthe City Attorney.
