I. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO HARDY & HARPER INC. FOR\n2023-2024 CDBG GLEN AVON AREA PAVEMENT REHABILITATION (CIP\n#23102)\nAPPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY\nAND TKE ENGINEERING, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT\nSERVICES FOR THE GLEN AVON PAVEMENT REHABILITATIION\nPROJECT (CIP #23102)\nAPPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY\nAND GEO-ADVANTEC, INC. FOR MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES\nFOR THE GLEN AVON PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT (CIP\n#23102)\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council award a construction contract to\nHardy & Harper Inc. in the amount of $788,775.00 for the 2023-2024\nCDBG Glen Avon Area Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CIP #23102), and\nauthorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement in the form attached\nto the staff report; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent related minor\namendments to the Agreement with Hardy & Harper Inc., and up to 10% of\nthe bid amount as contingency to cover the cost of any unforeseen\nconditions; and\n3. That the City Council approve the Agreement between the City of Jurupa\nValley and TKE Engineering, Inc. for Construction Management Services\nfor a not to exceed amount of $74,881 for the 2023-2024 CDBG Glen Avon\nArea Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CIP #23102); and\n4. Approve the agreement between the City of Jurupa Valley and Geo-\nAdvantec, Inc. for Material Testing Services for an amount not-to-exceed\n$14,880.00 for the 2023-2024 CDBG Glen Avon Area Pavement\nRehabilitation Project (CIP #23102); and\n5. Re-appropriate $273,444.50 of Measure A funds from the City’s Old Mira\nLoma Pavement Rehab Phase 2, Account No.210.2100.71404, to the\nProject Account; and\n6. Authorize the Finance Director to make appropriate budget adjustments as\nneeded; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreements in\nsubstantially the form and format attached to the staff report as approved by\nthe City Attorney.
