AWARD OF A GRANT THROUGH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA\nGOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF LAND USE AND CLIMATE INNOVATION\nFOR TOM WATHEN CENTER AT FLABOB AIRPORT FOR AVIATION\nRELATED YOUTH AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND THE CITY\nOF JURUPA VALLEY TO ACT AS THE FISCAL SPONSOR\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council approve the Agreement between\nthe City of Jurupa Valley and the Governor’s Office of Land Use and\nClimate Innovation to accept a $500,000 grant to act as the Fiscal Sponsor\nand authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement in substantially\nthe form and format attached to the staff report as approved by the City\nAttorney.\n2. That the City Council approve the Agreement between the City of Jurupa\nValley and Tom Wathen Center for Aviation Related Youth and\nEducational Programs for an amount not-to-exceed the $500,000 grant\nreceived by the City from the Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate\nInnovation.
