SPIRIT BUS PILOT PROGRAM\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Nomad Transit, LLC, a wholly\nowned subsidiary of Via Transportation, Inc., without the need for competitive bidding, in\na form approved by the City Attorney, for on-demand transit services for an amount not-\nto-exceed $573,689;\n(2) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an Amendment with First Transit, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney, for fixed-route transit services for an annual amount not-\nto-exceed $2,064,537 for services through December 31, 2025;\n(3) Approving an additional appropriation of $123,946 from Prop A funds to the FY 2024-25\nbudget for services through June 30, 2025; and\n(4) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\n4 of 637
