6. Approval and Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-046 and\nConsideration of Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding\n(MOU) with Goodwill Southern California to Continue the\nNextGen Youth Workforce Program.\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve Resolution No. 2024-046 and the proposed\nAmendment to Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)with\nthe GSC to extend the term through December 31, 2026;\nand\n2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Amendment; and\n3. Authorize the CEO to make technical adjustments as may\nbe necessary to carry out the direction of City Council.\n4. Authorize the Director of Finance to carry over any\nremaining balance from the previous approved\nappropriations in the amount of $127,000 in 2022 and\n$120,000 in 2024from the ARPA fund to fund the NextGen\nyouth workforce program in 2025 and 2026.
