AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS AMENDING\nACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT (ADU) REGULATIONS FOR MULTI-UNIT\nRESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES AND ALLOWING ONE ADDITIONAL DEED-\nRESTRICTED RENTAL ADU ON SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL\nPROPERTIES WITH A LOT AREA OF 13,000 SQUARE FEET OR GREATER,\nAND MAKING A DETERMINATION OF EXEMPTION UNDER THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA). First Reading - For\nIntroduction\nComment: Staff recommends that the City Council waive the full reading of the\nordinance and introduce it by title only for first reading. The ordinance would update\nregulations pertaining to accessory dwelling units, as directed by Implementation\nProgram 10.4 of the City's Housing Element and per the Planning Commission's\nrecommendation.
