12. AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH PALP, INC. DBA EXCEL\nPAVING COMPANY FOR ON-CALL PAVEMENT REPAIRS PROJECT; AND\nAPPROVAL OF ISSUANCE OF A CHANGE PURCHASE ORDER IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $484,000 TO PALP, INC. DBA EXCEL PAVING COMPANY FOR\nTHE PROJECT OVER A ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT TERM FOR A TOTAL\nPURCHASE ORDER NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $3,128,360.\nComment: Staff recommends City Council approve Amendment No. 2 to the\ncontract with PALP, Inc. DBA Excel Paving Company for on-call pavement repair\nservices in the amount of $440,000.00 over a final one (1) year contract term;\napprove a construction contingency of 10% in the amount of $44,000.00; and\napprove the issuance of a change purchase order to PALP, Inc. DBA Excel Paving\nCompany in the amount of $484,000.00 for the project over the one (1) year\ncontract term.
