INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE OF AN ORDINANCE BANNING THE\nSALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF KRATOM PRODUCTS\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council:\n1) Introduce and conduct the first reading of an Ordinance entitled:\nAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANA POINT, CALIFORNIA,\nADDING CHAPTER 5.41 (PROHIBITION OF THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF KRATOM) TO\nTITLE 5 OF THE DANA POINT MUNICIPAL CODE\n2) Direct staff to return with the ordinance for adoption at a subsequent City Council meeting.

12. STATUE COMMISSION FOR WATERMAN’S PLAZA – LORRIN “WHITEY” HARRISON\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council authorize the commission of a statue of Lorrin\n“Whitey” Harrison to be installed at Waterman’s Plaza; and authorize the City Manager or designee to\nexecute a contract with artist Bill Limebrook.

5. STAGE, SOUND, AND LIGHTING CONTRACT FOR SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK, SUMMER\nCONCERT SERIES, AND DIA DE LOS MUERTOS EVENT\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council authorize the City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute a contract with Southern California Sound, Stage and Lighting Corporation for stage, sound,\nand lighting services for Shakespeare in the Park, Summer Concerts in the Park, and the Día de los\nMuertos event.

6. AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 4th OF JULY AERIAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY AND BARGE\nSERVICES\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute two\ncontracts for the 4th of July aerial fireworks display:\n1) A contract with Garden State Fireworks, Inc. for fireworks; and,\n2) A contract with Curtin Maritime for the barge services.

7. COPIER AGREEMENTS WITH KC DIGITAL SOLUTIONS\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council authorize the City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute agreements with KC Digital Solutions to lease seven copiers and provide copier maintenance\nservices.

8. 2026 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council:\n1) Adopt the attached Resolution of the City of Dana Point entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANA POINT, CALIFORNIA,\nDECLARING WEEDS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND INITIATING ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS;\nand,\n2) That the City Council conduct a public hearing and thereafter adopt the attached Resolution\nentitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANA POINT, CALIFORNIA,\nAUTHORIZING WEED ABATEMENT ON PROPERTIES\nUNFINISHED BUSINESS
