10. Update on Route 66 Centennial and America 250 Programming and Approval of Public Art\nFund Appropriation for Banner Program. To celebrate the Route 66 Centennial and America\n250 milestones, the City has developed a series of programming initiatives in collaboration with\ncommunity groups. Implementation of the Banner Program will require the appropriation of\n$25,000 from the General Capital Improvement Fund, which holds the Public Art Funds.\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Receive and file this report;\n2. Provide direction on the proposed programming efforts; and\n3. Adopt a Resolution appropriating $25,000 of Public Art Funds from the General Capital\nImprovement Fund to support the Banner Program.

11. Bonita Unified School District Measure A - June 2026 Election. The Bonita Unified School\nDistrict has placed Measure A on the June 2, 2026, ballot to authorize $256 million in bonds for\nschool facility repairs and upgrades, subject to Proposition 39 accountability requirements and a\nprojected tax rate of $59 per $100,000 of assessed value. At the March 2, 2026, City Council\nmeeting, Mayor Tim Hepburn and Council Member Rick Crosby requested the measure be\nbrought forward for Council discussion and consideration of support.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt a resolution in support for the Bonita Unified\nSchool District Measure A Bond Measure.

12. SGVCOG & City of Pomona Proposed Arrow Highway Class IV Bikeway Design. The San\nGabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) and City of Pomona are proposing\nimprovements on Arrow Highway that include the addition of a Class IV bikeway among other\nfeatures, with impacts to the City of La Verne. Based on feedback from the January 20, 2026,\nCouncil Meeting, SGVCOG staff have conducted further study of the proposed improvements\nand are submitting the findings for the review and consideration of the City Council.\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Support coordination with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments and the City of\nPomona to advance the Class IV bikeway along Arrow Highway consistent with Pomona\nCity Council approved Alternative 4;\n2. Confirm the preferred bikeway terminus at the White Avenue/Arrow Highway intersection\nwithin the City of La Verne;\n3. Direct staff to work with partner agencies to incorporate traffic signal modifications and\npavement rehabilitation within the Cityâs segment, as appropriate; and\n4. Authorize staff to continue design coordination and return to the City Council with any\nrequired agreements, cost-sharing arrangements, or approvals necessary for project\nimplementation.

3.\nSenior Advisory Committee Appointment. Following an unexpected vacancy on the Senior\nAdvisory Committee (SAC), the City solicited applications to fill the role. Upon the close of the\napplication period, two applications were received. The SAC recommends that Mary Smith be\nappointed to serve a term through June 30, 2027.\nRecommendation: That the City Council accept the Senior Advisory Committee's\nrecommendation to appoint Mary Smith to serve a term through June 30, 2027.

4.\nResolution Accepting the Fire Department's 2025 Report on Compliance with State\nInspection Mandates. In accordance with Senate Bill 1205 (SB1205), all fire departments in\nCalifornia must annually inspect specified buildings and report compliance to their administering\nauthority.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt a Resolution titled, âA RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA, ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT\nOF A REPORT MADE BY THE FIRE CHIEF OF THE LA VERNE FIRE DEPARTMENTâS\nREQUIREMENT TO INSPECT CERTAIN OCCUPANCIES PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 13146.2\nAND 13146.3 OF THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE.â

5.\nPolice Shooting Range Use Agreement with Claremont Police Department. This agreement\nallows authorized Claremont Police Department personnel to utilize the La Verne Police\nDepartment's shooting range for training and qualification purposes.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to renew the Agreement\nfor Use of the La Verne Police Department's Shooting Range with the Claremont Police\nDepartment.
