PURCHASE AND INSTALL OF LIGHT EMITTING DIODE (LED) CONVERSION\nKITS FOR STREET LIGHT POLE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nThe City Council is requested to approve purchase and installation of LED\nconversion kits for street light poles to enhance their visibility and energy\nefficiency.\nRecommendation:\n1. Authorize City Manager to execute a contract with Graybar Electric\nCompany, Inc. and TBS Business Solutions USA, Inc. for direct purchase\nof LED light conversion kits through CMAS (State of California Multiple\nAward Schedules Program) in amount of $50,707.86; and\n2. Authorize staff to spend funds up to $110,000 for installation of LED light\nkits.

APPROVAL OF A BUDGET INCREASE FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nSHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT SERVICES IN FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025\nCity Council Agenda\nThe City Council is requested to approve an increase to the Supplemental Law\nEnforcement Services budget for additional LASD deputy services to continue\naddressing community concerns regarding a variety of traffic-related issues.\nRecommendation: Approve a budget amendment to increase the\nLaw Enforcement Program budget by $25,000\nfor Supplemental Law Enforcement Services\nwith the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s\nDepartment (LASD).

APPROVAL OF A MAJOR SITE PLAN REVIEW, TENTATIVE TRACT MAP,\nDENSITY BONUS WITH CONCESSIONS AND A WAIVER TO CONSTRUCT AN\n18-UNIT CONDOMINIUM DEVELOPMENT AT 6119 TEMPLE CITY\nBOULEVARD\nThe City Council is requested to conduct a public hearing for a 18 unit\ncondominium development at 6119 Temple City Boulevard.\nPresenter: Community Development Director\nRecommendation:\n1. Open the public hearing for PL 23-4386, 6119 Temple City Boulevard, and\nconsider approval for a site plan review, tentative tract map, a state density\nbonus with concessions and a waiver, an Affordable Housing Agreement,\nsubject to final review and approval by the City Attorney; and\n2. Find the project exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nand approve file PL 23-4386, subject to the recommended conditions of\napproval.
