Provide direction regarding whether to implement budget scenario 2 for the 5-year\npavement program for a total budget of approximately $25.5 million over 5\nyears, or budget scenario 3 for the 5-year pavement program for a total budget of\napproximately $28.8 million over 5 years; and\n3. 5) CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE\nTRAFFIC COMMITTEE MEETINGS BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 2023 AND NOVEMBER 2023\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the traffic recommendations listed in\nAttachment No. 1 for traffic engineering improvements citywide from the Traffic Committee\nMeetings held between September 2023 and November 2023.

6) CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR CORTEZ PARK SPORTS FIELD\nLIGHTING PROJECT - PROJECT NO. 22016\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Accept the work performed by F.E.C. Electric, Inc. for the Cortez Park Sports Field\nLighting Project (Project No. 22016) with a final contract amount of $233,500.00;\n2. Authorize the Acting City Manager and Assistant City Clerk to execute the Notice of\nCompletion and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles\nRegistrar-Recorder; and\n3. Authorize the Acting City Manager to release retention funds once appropriate.

7) CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR CITYWIDE PEDESTRIAN & VEHICLE\nTRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS FY 22-23 - PROJECT NO. 23027\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Accept the work performed by Superior Pavement Markings, Inc. for the Citywide\nPedestrian and Vehicle Safety Improvements FY 22-23 (Project No. 23027) with a final\ncontract amount of $254,347.87;\n2. Authorize the Acting City Manager and Assistant City Clerk to execute the Notice of\nCompletion and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles\nRegistrar-Recorder; and\n3. Conduct a public hearing regarding the PY 2024 CDBG Action Plan; and\n2.
