A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING CODE AMENDMENT NO. 23-01(ZCA-23-01), AMENDING CHAPTER 21.18 OF THE MONTEREY PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED “AFFORDABLE HOUSING INCENTIVES – DENSITY BONUS” TO IMPLEMENT THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE MONTEREY PARK GENERAL PLAN It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Continuing the public hearing to the June 7, 2023 City Council meeting; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
