3-I. PLAYGROUND PROJECTS AT BELLA VISTA, GARVEY RANCH, HIGHLANDS, AND SEQUOIA PARKS – APPROVE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR SUPERIOR RECREATION PRODUCTS TO PROCURE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $869,551.32 It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Approve the designs for the playgrounds located at Bella Vista, Garvey Ranch Park, Highlands, and Sequoia Parks; (2) Approve a purchase order for Superior Recreation Products to procure playground equipment in the amount of $869,551.32; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The proposed projects are categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements pursuant to 14 California Code of Regulations § 15301 as a Class 1 categorical exemption (Existing Facilities).
