8.g AWARDING A CONTRACT TO A. PREMAN ROOFING, INC. FOR 170 PALM ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AND AWARDING A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE CONTRACT TO THE GARLAND COMPANY, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF THE PROJECT ROOFING MATERIALS AND WARRANTY. (0910-07) Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2023-37 to: (1) award the construction contract to A. Preman Roofing, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $113,000 for the 170 Palm Roof Replacement Project (SP22101_PALM DE); (2) award a sole source purchase contract for an amount not-to- exceed $168,000 to The Garland Company, Inc. for the provision of the roofing materials and product warranty; (3) authorize the appropriation of $70,000 to the Project’s budget from the City’s available ARPA funds.
