2-A. SAN GABRIEL VALLEY REGIONAL HOUSING TRUST (“SGVRHT”) MEMBERSHIP It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Providing staff direction regarding the City Council’s desire to join the SGVRHT and at what membership type, affiliate membership or full membership; (2) If desirable: a. Authorize the City Manager to prepare a letter to join the SGVRHT as an affiliate member, with no access to project funding, for amount of $12,042.14 for the first year and thereafter, an ongoing annual fee of $3,042.14 plus annual Consumer Price Index (“CPI”) increase; OR b. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with SGVRHT, in a form approved by the City Attorney, to join the SGVRHT as a full member, with access to project funding, for amount of $24,210.68 for the first year and thereafter, an ongoing annual fee of $15,210.68 plus annual CPI increase; AND c. Budget amendment appropriating funds from the General Fund to cover annual costs for the selected membership level; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
