3. ADOPT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HOUSING LINKAGE PILOT PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATE GRANT FUNDING FROM THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (SGVCOG) RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the Agreement between the City of Montebello and the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) to Develop and Operate the Housing Linkage Pilot Program (HLPP) (Attachment B); and 2. Approve the appropriation of $23,466 awarded to the City of Montebello by SGVCOG; and 3. Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget by increasing appropriations by $23,466 in Account No. 265-85- 864-6040.10 (Grants, Fire, SGVCOG Housing Linkage Pilot Program, Other Contract Services [Expenditures]) and Account No. 265-99-4198.24 (Grants, Miscellaneous Grants, SGVCOG Housing Linkage Pilot Program [Revenue]); and 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
