14. APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT NO. 3878 WITH SHOCKWAVE ELECTRIC FOR A ONE- YEAR TERM EXTENSION AND INCREASE OF ANNUAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 3878 between the City of Montebello and Shockwave Electric for a One (1) Year Term Extension and increase the not-to-exceed amount from $45,000 to $85,000; and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City; and 3. Approve by a four-fifths vote of the City Council the emergency repairs to sports field lights at Chet Holifield Park per Municipal Code Section 3.20 – Purchase System, Section 3.20.050 - Conformance with bidding procedures, subsection D; and 4. Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget by increasing appropriations by $40,000 in Account No. 100-30- 720-6040.10 (General Fund, Public Works, Park Maintenance, Contract Services Outside Contracts); and 5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
