5.5 Approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Animal Shelter Services in Fiscal Year. RECOMMENDATION: A. Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Animal Shelter Services increasing its cost by $9,500 a month starting on June 1, 2024 costing an additional $9,500 in Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and $114,000 in 2024-2025 bringing the total contract cost for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to $732,684 and authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the amended agreement; and B. Approve the second option year renewal of the Agreement taking effect on July 1, 2024.
