3-D. AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND AGREEMENT NO. 1718-A AND EXTEND THE TERM FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIVE YEARS WITH WORLD JOURNAL LA, LLC, TO BE THE CO-PRODUCER OF THE MONTEREY PARK LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Authorizing the City Manager to amend agreement no. 1718-A and extend the term for an additional five-year term in a form approved by the City Attorney, with World Journal LA, LLC to co-produce the Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival on dates to be determined by the City; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
