11. APPROVE RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) PLANNING GRANT AWARD AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CALTRANS RELATED TO THE GRANT AWARD RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt a Resolution authorizing receipt of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Award for four hundred forty-two thousand six hundred and fifty dollars ($442,650) including authorizing the required local match of fifty-seven thousand three hundred fifty dollars ($57,350); and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant documents and any amendments thereto, to deliver all documents required or deemed necessary or appropriate to secure the Grant Award, and to negotiate and enter into a contract with Caltrans related to the grant award on behalf of the City; and 3. Take such additional and/or related action that may be necessary.
