L. CONTRACT AWARD - CONSTRUCTION OF A PUMP TRACK AT RICHARD T. STEED MEMORIAL PARK AND MAKING FINDINGS UNDER THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT Staff Recommendation Adopt Resolution No. 24-204, which will: 1. Find the construction of an asphalt pump track is consistent with the Richard T. Steed Memorial Park Master Plan and is consistent with the environmental findings established in the IS/MND previously certified by the City Council. 2. Award a piggy-back contract to American Ramp Company, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder in the City of Moreno Valley’s competitive formal bidding process, for the construction of the pump track at Richard T. Steed Memorial Park, in an amount not to exceed $605,500. 3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24- 89, a piggy-back contract, by and between the City of San Clemente and American Ramp Company, Inc., providing for the construction of the pump track at Richard T. Steed Memorial Park, in an amount not to exceed $605,500 in a form substantially similar to the contract awarded by the City of Moreno Valley. 4. Approve a 5% project contingency of $30,275.
