12. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RIO HONDO ACCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (LANDSCAPE) (C.P. 924) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Rio Hondo Access Improvement Project (Landscape) (C.P. 924) as completed by Voltaire Engineering, Inc.; and, 2. Approve the final contract amount with Voltaire Engineering, Inc. for the Project in the amount of $466,827, inclusive of all change orders; and, 3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and, 4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and, 5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $23,341 due to Voltaire Engineering, Inc. following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and, 6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
