14. APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NO. 3996 WITH COASTAL OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL GROUP (DBA AKESO OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH) FOR PRE-EMPLOYMENT, DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING, RETURN-TO-WORK EVALUATIONS, AND WORKERS’ COMPENSATION SERVICES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement No. 3996 with Coastal Occupational Medical Group (DBA Akeso Occupational Health); and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment, extending the term of the agreement to June 30, 2026; and, 3. Increase the total not-to-exceed amount of the Agreement by $50,000 (to $75,000) for one additional year (Fiscal Year 2025-26); and 4. Increase the not-to-exceed amount by $47,000 for Fiscal Year 2024-25 to process existing invoices for current services; and 5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
