16. ACCEPTANCE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 SB 1 ANNUAL YEAR 1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CP 913) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Fiscal Year 2023-24 SB 1 Annual Year 1 Street Improvement Project (CP 913) as completed by Hardy & Harper, Inc.; and, 2. Approve the final contract amount with Hardy & Harper, Inc. for the construction of the project in the amount of $2,550,047 including change orders; and, 3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and, 4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and, 5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $127,502 due to Hardy & Harper, Inc. following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and, 6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
