6. Approval to Consider Fourth Amendment to the Service Agreement for Professional Services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and Kingdom Causes, Inc. dba City Net It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the Fourth Amendment to the service agreement for consultant services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and Kingdom Causes, Inc. dba City Net in the total amount of $1,200,647.67, to operate Serenity Homes for a period of one (1) year, continuing to provide fifty (50) beds of interim housing for families experiencing homelessness for the period of September 22, 2025 to September 21, 2026 (“Fourth Amendment”)*; and 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Fourth Amendment in a form approved by the City Attorney; and 3. Authorize the Director of Recreation & Community Services to execute any documents and take other actions necessary to implement the Fourth Amendment; and 4. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funds and make the necessary budget adjustments. *If PLHA Funds ($176,426.25) and/or Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis funds ($305,918.41) are not approved, authorize the Director of Recreation & Community Services to modify the agreement to operate Serenity Homes for a period of six (6) months, at a reduced dollar amount, continuing to provide fifty (50) beds of interim housing for families experiencing homelessness.
