15. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PLAZA DRIVE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT (CP 917) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Plaza Drive Pavement Rehabilitation Project (CP 917) by All American Asphalt; and 2. Approve the final contract amount with All American Asphalt in the amount of $354,181 including change orders; and 3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and 4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and 5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $17,709 due to All American Asphalt following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and 6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
