CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AGRICULTURE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE TO INSPECT AND ABATE WEEDS, BRUSH, AND NATIVE VEGETATION DECLARED TO BE AN EXISTING OR POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD, AND SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 18, 2026, TO HEAR OBJECTIONS OR PROTESTS TO THE VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the County of Los Angeles Agriculture Commissioner's Office to inspect and abate weeds, brush, and native vegetation declared to be an existing or potential fire hazard and schedule a Public Hearing to be held on February 18, 2026, to hear objections or protests to the vegetation management program.
