8. ACCEPTANCE OF COMMUNITY CLEANUP AND EMPLOYMENT PATHWAY (CCEP) GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS FROM THE CALIFORNIA TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT (CALTRANS) RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Community Cleanup and Employment Pathway (CCEP) Grant Program by the California Transportation Department for $200,000; and 2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget by increasing appropriations by $200,000 in Account No. 265- 30-335-6040.10 (Grants, Public Works, Caltrans Community Cleanup-Employment Pathway, Contracts Services Outside Contracts [Expenditures]) and $200,000 in Account No. 265-99-4198.24 (Grants, Caltrans Community Cleanup-Employment Pathway [Revenue]); and 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and all applicable forms; and 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
