21. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-12 AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE TRANSPORTATION AGENCY FOR 2026 TRANSIT AND INTERCITY RAIL CAPITAL PROGRAM (TIRCP) CYCLE 8 GRANT TO SUPPORT THE PURCHASE OF HYDROGEN FUEL CELL ELECTRIC BUSES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-12 authorizing the submission of an application to the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) for the 2026 Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP) Cycle 8 Grant, to support the purchase of hydrogen fuel cell electric buses; and 2. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
