12.B. Consideration of the First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance Expanding the Lifeline Utility Rate Program and Clarifying Utility Billing and Collection Procedures, a Resolution Establishing a Wastewater Lifeline Discount, and a Resolution Increasing Water Service Deposits It is recommended that the City Council consider: 1. Waiving first reading and introducing and ordinance to expand the lifeline utility rate program and clarify billing, collection, and owner responsibility for water, wastewater, and other City billed utility charges; 2. Adopting a Resolution authorizing a 100% discount of the wastewater charge for customers residing in a single-family dwelling and participating in the Lifeline program; 3. Adopting a Resolution authorizing a deposit increase of $50 per meter size; and 4. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. 13.
