21. CONSIDERATION OF THE AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO RAMCO CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $91,885.00 FOR THE LIBRARY NORTHEAST RAMP LIGHTING PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 5149) Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council: a. Approve the plans and specifications for the Library Northeast Ramp Lighting Project (Project); b. Award a construction contract to RAMCO Construction, Inc. for construction services for the Project not to exceed $91,885.00, including the proposed bid amount of $79,900.00 and a 15% contingency of $11,985.00; c. Reject all other bids received; d. Find that the Project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1 "existing facilities."; and e. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract.
