22. 26-456 Accept Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bid and Award Construction Contract to Asplundh Construction, LLC, in the Amount of $1,389,738.46, for the Construction of Street Lighting Modifications on Orange Avenue, 11th Street, Walnut Avenue and 13th Street (CC-1715), and Authorize the Execution of Change Orders Recommended Action: A) Accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid submitted by Asplundh Construction, LLC, in the amount of $1,389,738.46; and, B) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a construction contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; and, C) Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute change orders not to exceed a total of 10 percent of the contract construction costs.
