24. APPROVE AGREEMENT NO. 4601 WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR HOMELESS PREVENTION INITIATIVE FUNDING RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute Agreement No. 4601 between the County of Los Angeles Department of Homeless Services and Housing (HSH) and the City of Montebello to accept Homeless Prevention Initiative - Homeless Service Funds (HPI-HSF) in an amount not to exceed $221,750; and, 2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget by increasing appropriations by $221,750 in Account No. 265- 85-869-6040.10 (Grants, Fire, Homeless Prevention Initiative, Other Contract Services [expenditures]), and increasing estimated revenues by $221,750 in Account No. 265-99-4198.35 (Grants, Homeless Prevention Initiative [revenue]); and, 3. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
