8. Council Appointed Commissions - Ordinance Amendments Recommendation: For the City Council to take the following actions: 1. Introduce Ordinance No. 2026-427, waiving reading of the full text, amending Chapters 2.27, 2.28, 2.30, 2.36, 2.37, 2.39, 2.40, 2.41 and 2.43 of the Calabasas Municipal Code related to Council Appointed Commissions; and 2. Discuss and consider dissolution of the Communications and Technology Commission’s role and responsibilities, eliminating Chapter 2.38 of the Calabasas Municipal Code; and 3. Discuss and consider whether to modify the current number of student commissioners appointed to each City commission.
