(62) 26-1271 CD 3 CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (BLUMENFIELD - JURADO) relative to an interim housing site for transitional age youth (TAY) experiencing homelessness at 7033 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park. Recommendations for Council action: 1. DIRECT the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to identify up to $4,000,000 in one-time Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention Program Transitional Age Youth (HHAP TAY) funds for the acquisition of 7033 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park for interim housing for TAY. 2. INSTRUCT the Community Investment Department, with the assistance of the Chief Legislative Analyst, to evaluate the feasibility of including 7033 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park for the purpose of establishing an interim housing site for TAY with CDBG funding for the acquisition and/or rehabilitation of the site. 3. DIRECT the CAO, with the assistance of the Bureau of Engineering and General Services Department, to report back in 30 days with recommendations on additional actions necessary to enable the acquisition, rehabilitation, and operation of an interim housing site for TAY experiencing homelessness at 7033 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park.
