(32) 26-1136 CD 11 ARTS, PARKS, AND CITY FACILITIES COMMITTEE REPORT relative to an assessment of the cost, funding opportunities, and resources needed to widen the Marvin Braude Bike Trail through Venice Beach in order to accommodate a pedestrian path in time for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Park - Hutt): INSTRUCT the Department of Transportation, with the assistance from the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Recreation and Parks, and Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, to report to Council in 30 days with an assessment of the cost, funding opportunities and resources needed to widen the Marvin Braude Bike Trail through Venice Beach in order to accommodate a pedestrian path in time for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
