(35) 26-1251 ADMINISTRATIVE AND CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a proposed lease with Galpin Motors, Inc. for vehicle inventory parking at Van Nuys Airport. Recommendation for Council action: 1. CONCUR with the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) that the proposed action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2(f), and Article III, Class 1(18)(c), of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE the award of a two-year lease, with four additional two-year renewal options, to Galpin Motors, Inc. for the use of paved industrial land for vehicle inventory parking located at 16841 Roscoe Boulevard at Van Nuys Airport. 3. CONCUR with BOAC Resolution No. 28438 authorizing the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute the proposed lease with Galpin Motors, Inc. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOAC reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The proposed lease will generate approximately $264,000 in revenue during the first year and a minimum of $2,640,000 over the ten-year term if all renewal options are exercised, excluding rate adjustments. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
