(47) 12-0743 CD 15 CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the proposed Sixth Amendment to Permit No. 899 with Pacific Battleship Center for the Freedom of the Seas Park and Pavilion. Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the determination by the Board of Harbor Commissioners (BOHC) that the proposed action is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1(14), of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. 2. APPROVE Port of Los Angeles (POLA) Resolution No. 26- 10777 authorizing the Sixth Amendment to Permit No. 899 with Pacific Battleship Center to establish conditions for the Harbor Department to provide up to $4,000,000 in reimbursement for construction costs associated with Phase 1 of the Freedom of the Seas Park and Pavilion. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOHC reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The proposed Sixth Amendment provides for a Harbor Department contribution of up to $4,000,000 toward construction of Phase 1 of the Freedom of the Seas Park and Pavilion, subject to the conditions of the agreement.
