12. Approval to Consider Fifth Amendment to the Service Agreement for Professional Services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and Kingdom Causes, Inc. dba City Net It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the Fifth Amendment to the service agreement for consultant services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and Kingdom Causes, Inc. dba City Net in the total amount of $995,232.07(as indicated under Fiscal Impact table), to operate Serenity Homes for a period of nine months, continuing to provide fifty (50) beds of interim housing for families experiencing homelessness for the period of September 22, 2026, to June 30, 2027 (“Fifth Amendment”); and 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Fifth Amendment in a form approved by the City Attorney; and 3. Authorize the Chief Exective Officer to execute any documents and take other actions necessary to implement the Fifth Amendment; and 4. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funds and make the necessary budget adjustments.
