16. Council Appointed Commissions - Ordinance Amendments Recommendation: For the City Council to take the following actions: 1. Introduce Ordinance No. 2026-427, waiving reading of the full text, amending Chapters 2.27, 2.28, 2.30, 2.36, 2.37, 2.39, 2.40, 2.41 and 2.43 and eliminating Chapter 2.38 of the Calabasas Municipal Code related to Council Appointed Commissions; and 2. Discuss and consider whether to modify the current number of student commissioners appointed to each City commission and change appointing authority to the City Council; and 3. Establish a new 2027 Student Commissioner Ad Hoc Committee and appoint two Councilmembers to review and recommend student commission appointments for Council approval.
