14. ACCEPTANCE OF FISCAL YEAR 2026 COPS TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT GRANT (TEP) PROGRAM AWARD AND APPROPRIATION OF GRANT FUNDS RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept funding awarded to the City of Montebello by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), FY 2026 COPS Technology and Equipment Implementation Projects, Grant Award Number 15JCOPS-26-GG-0321-TECP, in the amount of $1,039.000; and 2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget and increase appropriations by $1,039.000 in Account Nos. 265- 80-834-6010.10 (Grants, Police, COPS Technology Equipment Program, Machinery and Equipment [Expenditures]) and 265-99-4198.25 (Grants, Non-Departmental Misc. Grants-COPS Technology Equipment Program [Revenue]; and 3. Take such additional related action that may be desirable
