10. APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF THREE PIERCE ENFORCER FIRE ENGINES FROM SOUTH COAST FIRE EQUIPMENT, INC.AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-72 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the purchase of three Pierce Enforcer fire engines from South Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $4,847,915; and 2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to increase the purchase and financing authority by up to 10 percent to accommodate order changes or modifications, unforeseen expenses, changes in applicable tax rates, and final financing rates and costs; and 3. Adopt Resolution No. 26-72, authorizing the execution and delivery of a Master Lease-Purchase Agreement and related financing documents necessary to finance the acquisition; and 4. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute any documents necessary to complete the purchase and financing; and 5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
