8. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE EL CAMINO REAL AND AUTO CENTER DRIVE SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Staff is requesting the City Council award a construction contract to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder for the El Camino Real and Auto Center Drive Signal Improvement Project. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Award a construction contract to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, PTM General Engineering Services, Inc. in the amount of $126,666.00 for the El Camino Real and Auto Center Drive Signal Improvement Project; and 2. Authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the contract documents on behalf of the City.
