CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES FOR ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES RELATED TO THE HUNTINGTON DRIVE AND FREMONT AVENUE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $3,341,953, FOR A NEW TOTAL CONTRACT NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $5,782,114 Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council approve an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) (Attachment No. 1) with Kimley-Horn and Associates (KHA), in final form approved by the City Attorney, for additional engineering design services related to the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements Project for a new not to exceed total of $5,782,114 ($4,802,535 base fee, plus $480,254 contingency and $499,325 optional tasks).
