(28) 18-0384-S21 ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to two Project Modification Request applications to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District for the Safe Clean Water Regional program. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. NOTE and FILE the submission of three Project Modification Requests to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District, requesting project schedule and funding disbursement adjustments that have no impact on the total amount of awarded funding, as follows: a. Imperial Highway Green Infrastructure Project (Rd 4, Council District (CD) 11). b. Baldwin Vista Green Streets Project (Rd 5, CD 10). c. Lankershim Boulevard Local Area Urban Flow Management Network Project (Rd 1, CDs 2 and 6). 2. APPROVE the submission and AUTHORIZE the Director and General Manager, Bureau of Sanitation (BOS), of the two Project Modification Requests to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District to request additional Safe Clean Water Regional funding, as follows: a. $10 Million for the Wilmington Neighborhood Greening Project (Rd 2, CD 15). b. $7 Million for the Lincoln Park Neighborhood Green Street Project (Rd 2, CDs 1 and 14). 3. AUTHORIZE the Director and General Manager, BOS, or designee, to accept future Safe, Clean Water Program funds, conduct negotiations, provide additional information, and submit all documents, including, but not limited to project reports, updated Scope of Work documents, agreements, amendments, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form, that are necessary to secure funding with respect to the administrative actions required as part of the Project Modification Request approval process. Fiscal Impact Statement: The Measure W - Safe, Clean Water Program Administrative Oversight Committee reports that there is no fiscal impact to the General Fund from approval of the above recommendations as the action is administrative only.
