AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A SIXTY-MONTH INTERNET SERVICE AGREEMENT\nWITH FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS TO REPLACE CURRENT SITE\nINTERCONNECTIVITY (FUNDING SOURCE: TECHNOLOGY FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a sixty-month agreement with\nFrontier Communications of America, Inc. to provide direct internet\nconnection to nine City facilities in an amount of $78,000 annually, or\n$390,000 over the term of the agreement; and\nB. Appropriate $25,605 from the Technology Fund balance to fund the first\nyear of the agreement.

AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND EXISTING CONTRACT WITH ROBERT HALF\nINTERNATIONAL INC., EXTENDING THE TERM AND INCREASING COMPENSATION FOR\nPROFESSIONAL TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT SERVICES FOR THE INFORMATION\nTECHNOLOGY DIVISION (FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing\ncontract with Robert Half International Inc. for professional temporary\nemployment services, extending the term through June 30, 2024 and adding\nan additional $114,380 in compensation, increasing the total contract amount\nto $139,380; and\nB. Appropriate $139,380 from the unassigned General Fund balance to fund\nthe contract.

12. AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH COMPLETE PAPERLESS\nSOLUTIONS, INC. FOR LASERFICHE SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT (FUNDING SOURCE:\nGENERAL FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a one-year agreement with\nComplete Paperless Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $41,162 for Laserfiche\nCloud subscription and support; and\nB. Appropriate $16,009 from the unassigned General Fund balance to fully\nfund the agreement.

AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nHOUSEAL LAVIGNE TO INCREASE COMPENSATION FOR COMPLETION OF THE 6TH\nCYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE (FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND & HCD\nGRANTS)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the professional\nservices agreement with Houseal Lavigne, increasing compensation by\n$65,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $449,947 for the completion of\nthe Claremont Housing Element for the 6th Cycle (2021-2029); and\nB. Appropriate $65,000 from unassigned General Fund balance to fully fund\nthe agreement.

AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RRM DESIGN GROUP FOR ADU PRE-APPROVED DESIGNS\nAND APPROPRIATE $22,445 IN ADDITIONAL FUNDS (FUNDING SOURCE: AMERICAN\nRESCUE PLAN ACT FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Award contract to RRM Design Group and authorize the City Manager to\nenter into a professional services agreement with RRM Design Group for the\npreparation of ADU pre-approved designs in the amount of $72,445; and\nB. AWARD OF CONTRACT TO FIRST CLASS HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC., FOR\nHEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE SERVICES (FUNDING\nSOURCE: GENERAL FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council award a contract to First Class\nHeating and Air Conditioning, Inc. for heating, ventilation, and air\nconditioning maintenance services and authorize the City Manager to enter\ninto an agreement in an amount not to exceed $100,700 annually, for an\ninitial contract term of three years with two optional one-year extensions, for\na total contract amount of $503,500.

AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nDUDEK FOR URBAN FOREST PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (FUNDING SOURCE:\nGENERAL FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Dudek for\nurban forest professional services in the amount of $52,025; and\nB. Appropriate $52,025 from the unassigned General Fund balance to fund\nthe contract.

FOR SIGNAGE AND STRIPING\nIMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CIP 2023-02 AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDING (FUNDING\nSOURCES: AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) FUND AND STATE GAS TAX FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Award contract to Cat Tracking Inc. for Signage and Striping\nImprovements, and authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement in\nthe amount of $124,450, and authorize a ten percent contingency in the\namount of $12,445, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $136,895;\nB. Appropriate $56,950 from the State Gas Tax Fund for signage\nimprovements on the Base Line Road portion of the project; and\nC. Find this item exempt from environmental review under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA).
